Alice Gualandi
She is a young illustrator from Genoa, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in Painting and Illustration. Matter is what most inspires and moves her, be it body, earth, wood, paper, or ink. The Word is what she pursues, the space in which she seeks her own voice. She loves combining analog and digital, experimenting with different techniques—from engraving to wax crayons, from India ink to cyanotype.
