High water in Venice is a phenomenon that occurs when the water level in the lagoon reaches higher than normal levels, flooding some areas of the city. During high tide, one of the most affected areas is often Piazza San Marco.
The city's squares and low-lying streets may flood, requiring the use of temporary walkways ("high bridges") to allow residents and visitors to cross flooded areas. This phenomenon, however, is very suggestive when, looking at the water, you catch the reflection of the majestic surrounding buildings.
This work is available on Fine Art photographic paper or on Tiziano Canvas. The inks used are of the highest quality and long-lasting, guaranteeing brilliant and long-lasting color rendering.
The image features light, pastel tones, with a pale blue sky. The composition is centered on the bell tower of San Marco, an iconic Venetian structure, with St. Mark's Basilica in the background on the left and the Doge's Palace on the right. The surface of the water acts like a mirror, creating a feeling of tranquility and beauty.
